PROJECT
GOAL: My role as a Planning Engineer was to provide project planning and
scheduling and control services through the project control phases from start
up to close out of the project on each work package. Responsible for overall
Project Planning & Scheduling Management for several programs
(multi-projects).
Project
consists of:
• Subsea
Well Intervention Projects (with the collaboration of GE Oil & Gas,
Shell, Helix Well ops)
• Subsea
Oil & Gas Riser EPC Projects.
• Subsea
Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Projects.

Produce
and review project WBS to ensure that it is covering all the scope of work
and all the WBS packages
are
manageable.
·
Establish
Master Schedule to monitor interfaces, contract key milestones and payment
milestones.
·
Identify
and monitor critical path in the schedule (package and master level) and
prepare Critical Action Item
Report for monthly progress review meetings.
·
Produce
actual productivity and progress s-curves, for package and program levels,
and compare them to the
baseline productivity and progress s-curves, to
monitor progress and ensure all the package are progressing
as planned.
·
Identify
and review any deviations from baseline plan and prepare recovery action
plan.
·
Establish
cost control and progress measurement system to actively manage actual costs
and generate forecasts against original budget including ETC and EAC.
·
Undertake
earn value analysis using cost performance index (CPI) and schedule
performance index (SPI) for all WBS packages and entire program.
·
Implement
an effective project change management, review and approve change
requests/orders and to ensure that true time and cost impacts are measured
for approved change requests/orders.

Review
Schedules, financial Risks and prepare mitigation plans if possible.

Attend
progress review meetings with client and senior managers to review project
variance report and project progress s-curves on monthly basis.

and clarify the contract document list and review the number of documents
